ABOUT ME

I didn't start at the top — and that's exactly what makes me different.

Over the past 13 years, I've held just about every seat in the nonprofit world, from seasonal staff to executive director. That journey taught me things no classroom could — how organizations really work, where they struggle, and what it actually takes to move people and systems forward. Add five years of dedicated Systems Change practice, and I bring both the big-picture thinking and the roll-up-your-sleeves energy to every client I work with.

I'm a go-getter by nature. I don't wait for the perfect moment — I show up, dig in, and get to work. Whether it's guiding an organization through a strategic pivot, facilitating a room full of different opinions, or helping a team find their footing, I'm ready to jump in and figure it out alongside you.

Community isn't just a word I use at work — it's the story of my life. As a formerly undocumented and DACAmented individual who is now a proud U.S. citizen, I understand firsthand what it means to navigate systems that weren't built with you in mind. That journey didn't slow me down — it lit a fire in me. It's the reason I do this work, the reason I show up fully, and the reason equity will always be at the center of everything I do. I currently serve on four boards of directors and volunteer regularly because I believe in giving back to the communities that shaped me — and fighting to make them stronger for the next generation. My work is especially rooted in serving Latine communities, where authentic connection, cultural respect, and trust aren't optional — they're everything.

I hold a Bachelor's in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofits and am completing my Master's in Public Affairs from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. That academic foundation, combined with 13 years of real-world nonprofit experience, means I bring both the theory and the practice to everything I do.
